Nauvoo Brickyard Building Update

I took the camera to work today to take pictures of what I am working on right now. We are building a raised floor so the people sitting on the back row watching the brick making demonstration can see as well as the front rows.

Not Again!!!

Here is the picture Joey Huston took as he walked into the room Marty was working in. Marty had just cleaned his hopper, refilled it and had lifted it over his head to spray texture on the ceiling when..OOPS! It was on backwards and he dumped the whole thing on his head. He was laughing about it the rest of the day. This is the second time he has done this. Last time it was on our house, in the family room. There were no witnesses with camera's that time.

Finishing the inside of the new Brickyard Building

Marty has been working on the Sheetrock, Taping and Mudding of the Brickyard building. He use to really hate finishing work but now he really enjoys it. "Practice makes Perfect".

The inside brickwork is comletely finished and it looks really good.
This is a picture of the nightmare ceiling. Getting the lights and the framework just the way everyone wants it is making Marty crazy! Oh well, what's new.

They still have more to do on the outside but it is getting closer to finished. The back of the building is done.
